Everything at Trastevere was delicious. We've been here a few times now and haven't been disappointed. The risotto alla bolognese is out of this world.
A lovely dining experience. Trastevere never fails to please. A restaurant with old world charm and a delicious menu. You can't go wrong everything is great!
Really cool experience in Brooklyn if you're looking for a fancy meat restaurant with a different type of vibe. Decor is beautifully done, and the menu is heavy on the pasta, chicken, lamb and veal. Although they do have a ribeye steak option, this is not a steakhouse. They seem to pride themselves on a lighter style, so you don't feel terribly stuffed when you leave. This restaurant is located in the spot where the old Cafe Venezia used to be, and is fairly large, complete with a second floor equipped with some very large tables for big groups. The menu is a play on the old Tevere restaurant which existed on the upper east side in Manhattan. The downstairs has dim lighting and is nice for a romantic date. They do serve wine but are waiting for their liquor license for a full bar. Appetizers were great. Highly recommend the fried artichokes, which were both crunchy and juicy with a lemon twist. The truffle risotto was extremely flavorful and I liked that there wasn't so much liquid/cream. The salads are done well, and it's nice that most main courses come with salads, i.e. the breaded veal and lamb chops. I liked the Bolognese and lasagna, they tend to know what they are doing with tomato-based dishes like meatballs as well (although it was weird that it came with a ton of sauce but no spaghetti). The desserts were excellent, the napoleon was really nice and the chocolate fondue was very much liquid though. Remember that these are all non-dairy. All in all, definitely worth checking out!
Beautiful place! Great service and great food. Steak and Veal was amazing! A little pricey but definitely worth it.
Great vibes. Place looks better than the original. Food and desert are top. Service amazing
Great Italian Kosher food! You have to try the Veal chop and the assorted main platter was amazing!
I have so much to say about this place I will try to keep it quick and concise. Trastevere hits all the marks- The food is delectable- I especially recommend the beef carpaccio and the Stracotto and they have an extensive wine/spirits collection. It has gorgeous layout, lovely color scheme lots of seating options including private booths. This place has true style and elegance. The wait staff are incredibly polite and swift in delivering the food. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a relaxing luxurious experience that won’t break the bank. I have been to places twice the price that don’t pale in comparison to the experience I had here.
This is a hidden gem in Brooklyn. Wonderful drinks food and allot of privacy
